The 43rd annual American Music Awards took place in Los Angeles Sunday night. While some artists like Carrie Underwood, Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez shined both on the red carpet and on stage, others failed to look their best. From Jenny McCarthy’s thigh-high suede boots, to Gwen Stefani’s bizarre sheer ensemble and Nick Jonas’ grey turtle neck, there were plenty of outfits that left us wondering who let these A-listers walk out the door. And then there is our pick for the No. 1 worst dressed, who opted for an under the sea theme that couldn’t have clashed more with the red carpet.
