It’s an all-out extravaganza with vintage classic custom cars/trucks, big custom choppers and big wow factor at this one-day show.
The Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show (or simply ‘Mooneyes,’ after the company that organizes it) is an smaller international event. It’s an absolute must-visit show that crams hundreds of visitors into the Pacifico Yokohama exhibition center to gawk over countless custom motorcycles and cars. Exhibitors and visitors from all across the world gather around and display their creations and passions for this custom culture.
Japan’s ‘custom scene’ is always filled with plethora of eye-opening delights on its own level—never failing to impress, inspire and challenge. The people are exceedingly polite, the whisky is top-notch, and getting directions in English is near impossible. This show never disappoints, every year its a highlight.
