Set against the panoramic backdrop of Makuhari Seaside Park, THE BEACH 2025 is ready to ignite the shoreline on Saturday, May 31st, with a massive lineup that fuses international heavyweight acts with cutting-edge underground talent.

The final wave of artist announcements brings even more heat to this highly anticipated beachside celebration. Among the newly confirmed performers are Grammy-winning artist Mura Masa, known for his genre-defying collaborations and standout performance as the closer on Fuji Rock’s White Stage in 2022; 250, the South Korean producer reinventing traditional ppongjjak through a modern electronic lens—who recently swept Korea’s most prestigious music awards (KMA) with four wins including Album of the Year; and MELTMODE, the Bangkok-based innovator blending Thai traditional motifs with futuristic house music.

With an already stacked roster, these additions cement THE BEACH 2025 as one of the most exciting lineups on the summer festival calendar.

Headlining the evening is none other than The Chemical Brothers, pioneers of electronic music and six-time Grammy winners. The UK duo is set to unleash a marathon 2.5-hour DJ set, tracing the evolution of rave culture from 90s big beat to today’s techno landscape.

Also making her long-awaited Japan debut is hard techno’s rising queen, Sara Landry, whose electrifying sets have shaken stages from Coachella’s Sahara tent to EDC Las Vegas’s main stage. She joins a diverse lineup that includes Taku Takahashi, the experimental duo DONGROSSO (a hybrid of Dongurizu and MONDO GROSSO), and Japan’s own ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, whose viral Boiler Room set crossed the 10-million-view threshold.

Two stages—BEACH STAGE and ALPHA STAGE—will keep the energy high all day. Expect explosive sound quality powered by globally renowned systems: L-Acoustics K1 at BEACH STAGE and the iconic Funktion One system at ALPHA STAGE.

Festivalgoers will not only dance to world-class beats but enjoy gourmet food stalls, shaded rest areas, and family-friendly amenities—including free ear protection rentals for children provided by the Japanese Music Festival Association (JMFA). What’s more, folding umbrellas, small leisure mats, and compact chairs are now permitted inside the venue, ensuring both comfort and convenience throughout the day.

Getting to the event couldn’t be easier, with direct train access from central Tokyo in under 40 minutes. Once on site, guests will find smooth cashless transactions at bars, shops, and select food stalls (note: payment methods may vary by vendor), backed by NEC’s robust 5G infrastructure for uninterrupted connectivity.

To add to the hype, J-WAVE will air a special feature on The Chemical Brothers on April 29 (Tuesday, national holiday), curated by fan-submitted tracklists. Lucky participants whose playlists get a nod from the duo could even win premium tickets to the show.

As excitement builds for what promises to be the dance event of the year, fans are encouraged to secure tickets in advance—sales are ongoing but expected to sell out.
