Opened in February 2011 on Hirokoji St. in Fushimi, Bunon extends the tradition of Sumiyoshi’s teppan-yaki bistro Esperanza to offer creative French cuisine and an abundance of wine in a relaxed wine bar and restaurant setting.
The name Bunon comes from the two Japanese words budo (grape) and nomu (drink) and, just as the name suggests, Bunon is a place where you can enjoy a wide selection of wines along with Esperanza’s popular Hamburg Steak, a la carte items and full course dinners (by reservation). This must be the ideal spot for all kinds of of occasions!
