Sunrockers Shibuya vs SeaHorses Mikawa

The Shibuya Sunrockers were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Mikawa 82-78 on Saturday night. Aishin Sea Horses made 19-of-22 free  throws (86.4 percent) during the game. The Sunrockers were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Davante Gardner stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) chipped in 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the losing side Beninese forward Muusa Dama responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American Ryan Kelly scored 23 points. Four Sunrockers players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Aishin Sea Horses will have a break next round. Shibuya Sunrockers will play again at home against Aishin Sea Horses and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
