Katana Immersive LLC, a subsidiary of Katana Inc., is redefining Halloween in Tokyo by turning Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Odaiba into festive hubs with their immersive events at Immersive Fort Tokyo. On October 18, 2024, a special edition of the “Halloween Panic Night” event from the “ImaHaro: Immersive Fort the Halloween” series took over three major locations: SHIBUYA109, Immersive Fort Tokyo, and WARP SHINJUKU.

At SHIBUYA109, the atmosphere was transformed into a spooky Halloween wonderland. Flyers announcing the event were handed out as the clock struck 5 PM, and zombies emerged, taking over the front of SHIBUYA109 in an eerie display that set the tone for the night.

The excitement reached new heights when the zombies performed a synchronized dance to the high-energy track “#PartyZ,” a key feature from the DJ Time segment of Immersive Fort Tokyoā€™s Halloween attractions. As the zombies, who had previously roamed the streets in pursuit of unsuspecting guests, suddenly burst into coordinated movement, the crowd was swept up in the infectious energy. The dance brought the event to its climax, uniting participants in a wild and unforgettable celebration.

Though brief, the event left a lasting impression, with the crowd fully engaged in the haunting fun. The success of the special event was a testament to Katana Immersive’s commitment to creating a new Halloween tradition in Tokyo, one that promises to grow in the years to come.
